The recent return of our TODCO Senior Ball was a success! Held at the stunning Esplanade Ballroom of the Moscone Center on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, from 11 AM to 2 PM PDT, this event marked a joyful reunion for our seniors after a four-year hiatus. Attendees enjoyed an afternoon filled with live music, engaging games, prizes, delicious food, and so much more.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible staff, the Moscone Center team, and, most importantly, our seniors for coming together to make this event not just possible but truly memorable.

We had a fantastic time at our TODCO Annual Employee Appreciation Day at the San Francisco Giants game on Thursday, September 5th, 2024! It was a wonderful opportunity for our team to relax, enjoy some baseball, and celebrate the hard work and dedication of our employees. Before the game we were able to honor our staff who had been with TODCO the longest starting at 5 years of seniority going all the way up to 45 years of dedication to our TODCO mission in SoMa. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable day—we truly appreciate all that you do!

The restored Innercity Home mural in San Francisco's SOMA district stands as a powerful symbol of community collaboration and resilience. Originally created as a product of collaboration, with input from Knox SRO residents on shaping its message, the mural's restoration preserves artistic history while reaffirming shared values. Its forward-pointing arrow reminds us that home is both a physical space and an ideal rooted in connection and dignity. As San Francisco continues to address housing challenges, the mural's message remains crucial: home is a right, and community voices are essential in shaping the future.

The Knox SRO Renovation Update

We're pleased to report significant progress on our Knox SRO renovation project:

• The 6th floor renovation is in full swing, with residents temporarily relocated within the building. By staying at the Knox SRO, residents continue to feel at home and familiar with their surroundings and neighborhood.

• 7th and 8th floor residents have successfully moved back into their newly renovated rooms.

• Our team is providing support to help 7th and 8th floor residents adjust to their new appliances and amenities.

• We are prioritizing keeping as many residents as possible within the Knox SRO during renovations to maintain their quality of life.

• We have a whole team working on this project and continue to work as a team to address all the various questions and concerns around the temporary relocation and process.

We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we continue working on this exciting TODCO Group renovation project.

🎉 TODCO’s Birthday Lunch Celebrations

Here at TODCO Group, we love celebrating our team members’ birthdays with a special lunch in our local neighborhood. Each month, we honor staff whose birthdays fall within a specific time frame. If it’s not your birthday month, you chip in $7 for your meal, but if it is, TODCO treats you to lunch!

Over the course of the year, every employee gets their moment to shine and enjoy a birthday lunch on us. This month, we celebrated those with birthdays in August, September, and October at Chaat Corner. We always aim to support our local restaurants and businesses, making these lunches even more special.
